Line is one of our favourite brands for heavy knits. A company created in 2000 by owners John Muscat and Jennifer Wells, Line is an exclusive brand that really brought a feminine defined quality to heavy knits for fall and winter.

The classic open cardi, the beautiful colours used, and the hint of winter nostalgia really put this brand above many others in terms of knitwear design. The quality of fit and craftsmanship does put these sweaters at a higher price point - $299 a piece - but they last forever, and are really sweater coats not just a knit? The draping is absolutely beautiful, figure flattering, and will definitely be a staple this fall and winter... and winters to come. Our suggestion? Pair with skinnies or one of our Monk and Lou maxis, an everyday leather bag, and some vintage shades. Now that's a good winter combo.
