What to Wear: Bike Adventure

POSTED BY justine

There comes that time in the summer when you're sick of taking the bus, you can't be bothered to drive, and you're simply itching to feel the breeze while still moving relatively fast. This calls for breaking out the ol' two-wheeler. Put those cycling shorts down, though, 'cause we've got something better.

Ideally, you'd want a tank that would keep you cool, but still breathe fairly easy. Throw on a button-up shirt as a layering piece if it gets too chilly, and if you're biking shorter distances, it's cool to swap out the spandex for some lightweight denim cut-offs. Add on a cross-body bag that's just big enough to fit your essentials, and you're good to go. And always remember: safety first, so don't forget your helmet!

Propaganda Cerie tank, $35; M&L Alylia placket top, $52; Free People colour cut-off shorts, $82, Colab Harper nylon cross-body, $80; Frye Jilian oxford, $221
