This Tuesday, Plenty Uptown celebrated their grand opening with a party!

Invites were sent out a couple weeks back, and our customers definitely saved the date. The store was humming with excited shoppers from all over town, and the whole staff was ready for the crowd. Provided with scrumptious cupcakes from Cupcakes Uptown and bubbly from Yellowtail, customers were kept happy and buzzing.

With tunes from DJ Andrew and snaps by Garden City Photobooth (with props, of course), customers also had a chance to be silly and capture their memories at Plenty, and break out into a dance if they wanted to!

All in all, it was a great success, and we can't wait for the rest of the week because our Customer Appreciation sale is on! So don't forget to stop by, because we'd love to see you!

The other day I hopped onto a ferry for a mini adventure and to meet the newest addition to the Plenty family - our fifth store at Uptown Centre in Victoria.

A hybrid of our Kitsilano storefront (outside with big windows) and the new Metrotown layout, the newest store was a delight to see around the corner from DavidsTea and Cupcakes. Uptown is still going through some construction, so I can't wait to come back and see what the whole outdoor mall is like when there are more neighbours!

These lamps are a customer and staff favourite - so pretty!

New Spring arrivals for both the mens and ladies sections, although there's still a sale happening - meaning an additional 25% off the last price from all Winter & Fall merch.

Favourite Restaurant/Eats: I have a thing for asian food so I love eating anything Korean, Chinese, Thai or Japanese. I also enjoy occasionally going to Antons and attempting, yet always failing, to finish the entire plate.
Best Moment In Store: There are tons of best moments at Metrotown. One I can think of off the top of my head was when a lady frantically ran back into our store thinking she lost her phone when it was in her bag the entire time. You would've had to be there to fully understand the hilarity of this moment - Jessica and I laughed for hours.
Looking Forward To: I am counting down the days til winter break and I can't wait to go snowboarding up on the mountains. Oh, and of course Christmas!
Something You Can’t Live Without: My bed..I love sleeping way too much.
On Your Wishlist: Knee high boots, a leather jacket and leggings! But more importantly, chunky knit cardigans to keep me warm under a much needed winter jacket and a pair of Hunters that I've been eyeing since I stepped into my first, but certainly not last, puddle on campus.

We will be traveling across the waters this winter & opening our first store outside the Lower Mainland at Uptown in Saanich (right near Victoria).
