Hiring - Warehouse Sale

Our annual Warehouse Sale is back at the Vancouver Convention Centre from April 7 - 10, 2023. 

Sale Support Staff will help with set-up, stock replenishment, assisting customers, take-down and other tasks as needed. You will be assigned a section and have a team lead.

No previous experience is necessary. Please note that you will be standing for up to 8 hours and may be asked to lift/carry up to 40 LBS.

Please submit your application in person at any Plenty location by March 31. You will be contacted with further details and a temporary employment contract.

 

FAQ

Where is it?

• 999 Canada Place - Under the Sails at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Waterfront Station is the closest Skytrain station.

When are the shifts?

• The sale is open to the public from April 7-10. We also have set-up shifts between April 4-6.

What is the pay?

• Temporary employees will receive an hourly rate between $16.50 - $18.50 based on previous experience. 

What are the tasks?

• During your shift you will be assigned a section with a team lead. There are various tasks such as unpacking boxes, hanging or folding merchandise, replenishing stock, tidying fitting rooms, and sorting merchandise.

Are there breaks?

• Yes, breaks will be provided. Shifts that exceed 5 hours are entitled to a 30 minute break.

Will there be food and water?

• Yes, water, beverages, snacks and lunch are provided. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate dietary restrictions.  

What should I wear?

• Please wear all black and comfortable closed toe shoes.
