There’s something magical about the way kids create. Give them beads, clay, yarn, or markers, and entire worlds appear. At our upcoming Mini Mini Market with Collage Collage on August 23rd, that kind of magic takes center stage.
These young makers aren’t just dabbling—they’re dreaming big. Some are sharing their creations outside the home for the very first time, while others are turning hobbies into budding businesses. Either way, each one brings a perspective that’s uniquely their own (and, honestly, way cooler than what we could’ve dreamed up at that age).
Before they set up shop, here’s a little sneak peek.

Q: What’s your best-selling masterpiece?
A: My emotional support pickles. (But sometimes my dishcloths and dog bandanas).
— Olivia, age 11

Q: Describe your creations in 3 words.
A: Fun, creative, special.
— Mia, age 13

"I love to make rock trees. I have always been interested in rocks in general and did a workshop on making rock trees. There is a big base rock, then I attach wires and mini rock gems that act as the branches."
— Christian, age 11

"I wanted to learn how to crochet so I asked my mom for some yarn and I got a crochet kit last Christmas. I went on YouTube and watched some tutorials and I started making my own creations."
— Alexandra, age 9

"I like drawing and painting because it's peaceful."
— Audrey, age 6

"I turn my hand-drawn artwork into greeting cards and I also crochet baos (mini dumplings). I just started joining markets last year and did a farmers market and 2 winter markets. They were really fun and I did pretty good."
— Taliah, age 13
